How CARRY works

The 30-second guide to launching, fees and rewards. 90% of collected creator fees is allocated to holders.

I want to launchWhen will I get paid?Where do fees go?Check my reward

Section 01: Start here

Trade the coin. Collect creator fees. Reward holders. The creator chooses one reward path when the coin launches: holder rewards or a Powerball prize pool.

  1. 1

    Trade

pump.fun collects trading fees and makes the coin's creator-fee share available to CARRY.

  2. 2

    Split

90% goes to the chosen holder module, 5% to the protocol and 5% to the CARRY buyback reserve.

  3. 3

    Pay

CARRY records the allocation and sends rewards when the pool, market and transaction checks pass.

No staking is required. Rewards depend on collected fees and successful payouts; they are not guaranteed income.

Section 02: Launching a coin

  1. 1

    Create

Add the name, ticker, image and description.

  2. 2

    Choose

Select holder rewards or Powerball. For Powerball, choose 1–50 winning slots. The choice is fixed after launch.

  3. 3

    Approve

Connect your wallet, review the real SOL cost and approve the transaction. The coin page opens after confirmation.

Powerball requires a second wallet approval to route creator fees to its pool. A confirmed on-chain launch cannot be undone.

Section 03: Where the fees go

The split applies only to creator fees collected from pump.fun. It does not apply to the full trade amount.

Where 1 SOL of collected creator fees goes
PurposeShareFrom 1 SOL
Holder rewards90%0.9000 SOL
Protocol5%0.0500 SOL
CARRY buyback reserve5%0.0500 SOL

pump.fun sets its trading-fee rate. Network fees are separate. Older coins keep their recorded allocation.

Section 04: When a payout happens

There is no fixed payday. “Owed” means recorded for you. “Paid” means the transfer finalized on-chain.

  • Holder rewards: your share uses the number of coins held and recorded holding time. Small balances wait until they can cover payout costs.
  • Powerball: each coin has its own pool. A round needs at least 10 minutes and 0.5000 SOL. Creators choose 1–50 slots; a wallet may win more than once.
  • Proof: open the coin page to see amounts owed, payout status and transaction receipts.

Automatic live payouts are currently off. A check is not a promised payment time.

Section 05: Check or claim a reward

You usually do not need to claim. Automatic payouts handle eligible balances. A manual claim only requests an earlier check and may deduct its displayed cost.

  1. 1

    Open the coin

Connect the wallet that earned the reward and open the Holders tab.

  2. 2

    Read the status

Check the amount owed, payout minimum and any displayed cost.

  3. 3

    Verify payment

Use the Payouts tab and explorer receipt. Count it as paid only after the transaction finalizes.

If no reward appears, confirm the wallet address and remember that holding alone does not create fees.

Section 06: Common questions

Do I need to stake or keep this page open?

No staking or page-open requirement is used for holder rewards. Live rewards are checked by CARRY's automated service. Connect your wallet when you want to see your own reward status or request a claim.

Do I get 90% of the SOL I spend back?

No. The 90% holder allocation applies to collected creator fees, which are only part of trading fees. That allocation is then shared among eligible holders after applicable payout costs. See the 1 SOL fee example.

Can I change the reward after launch?

The reward choice is fixed for that coin. If its token becomes unavailable, payouts can wait or fail rather than silently switching to a different stock.

Does holding guarantee income?

No. Rewards need creator fees, an eligible share and a successful payout. Your coin and reward assets can fall in value.

Can the fee percentages change?

Yes. The treasury applies the current protocol split in the backend; those percentages are not permanently locked into each coin.
